IQ Smart Backup
The iQ Smart Backup is a unique network device that automates the backup of Toshiba Strata® CTX/CIX telephone system configurations. In addition, the iQ Smart Backup can backup directories from a Microsoft Windows® based Voice Mail System.
Copies of the backup files are stored locally in the iQ Smart Backup Flash Drive and can optionally be transmitted to an external FTP Server on or off site, or Network Share directory.

- This device can back up multiple CTX/CIX systems that are networked together. Placed anywhere within the network, the iQ Smart Backup will initiate the CTX/CIX backup program and store a copy of the backup locally as well as externally.

- Transmit copies of backup files to an FTP Server or a Network Share Directory.
- Transmit copies of what is backed up off site to an external FTP or to a Network Share that is tagged to be backed up by the customer's backup system.
- Copies of the backup are kept on the iQ Smart Backup's internal storage medium for a quick and easy retrieval.
- Schedule daily or weekly backups.
- You may set the iQ Smart Backup to do Daily backups at a specified time or a Weekly backup on a specified Day and Time.
- E-mail result of automatic backup for all backups or just failed backups only.
- The iQ Smart Backup can generate a backup report for every backup or just backups that failed. This report can be sent to multiple email addresses.
- Reliable Solid State Flash storage.
- A high quality 4 GIG Smart Media card is used to store the backup files.
- Easy browser based administration.

FAQ
Does the iQ Smart Backup require eManager, WinAdmin, or any other interface software?
- No. The iQ Smart Backup doesn't require any interface software. Access to the CTX or CIX systems is handled completely by the iQ Smart Backup's internal programming.
What CTX and CIX software levels are supported?
- All software levels are supported from Release 1 to the most current levels,
Will there be an issue with formatting the storage card?
- No. The iQ Smart Backup does not need to format the storage cards.
Does the CTX or CIX require a storage card for the iQ Smart Backup to work?
- Yes. There must be a card on the processor.
